Chapter 434: Chapter 427: Stealing Her Nest

Wei Jiani smugly pressed on her phone, then sneered at Tang Yuxin, “You heard it, didn’t you? Those were my mother’s words.” She then dramatically sprawled herself on the bed, “I’m not used to sharing a bed with someone else. You’ll have to figure this out by yourself. I assume you don’t want my mom coming over to deal with you either.”

She finished talking and climbed under the covers, her lips curled in triumph.

Upon hearing a slamming sound, her smile widened even more. Ah, she has left, it’s for the best. She could have slept on the floor if she wanted, she shouldn’t be blaming Wei Jiani for this.

The wind brought a slight chill, contrasting with the daytime heat. The sound of rustling leaves echoed around.

Everything was incredibly peaceful and there was nothing else present except for these sounds.

Only the nearby hospital, still lit up and bustling with people going in and out, broke the silence.

Tang Yuxin walked towards it with only her phone in her pocket. She felt the need to get out, uncertain if she would end up poisoning Wei Jiani out of anger if she didn’t.

“Yuxin, how come you’re here?” The duty nurse greeted Tang Yuxin warmly. Tang Yuxin was no stranger in the hospital. She was not only familiar for saving Commander Huang’s life and solving the snake venom problem, but also because of Chengcheng’s sweet talk which helped her establish close personal relationships.

“Sister Qiufen, are there any spare beds? I have a problem and need to stay here temporarily.” Tang Haxin didn’t have another choice but to tolerate it for the night. Otherwise, she would have to spend the night sitting outside, which she refused to do.

With a look of disgust, she stripped the bedding off and washed everything. There was a drying line outside for laundry, where everyone hung their clothes to dry. Tang Yuxin washed the bedding and hung it up.

Wei Jiani’s face twisted a little upon seeing Tang Yuxin hanging up her laundry.

Tang Yuxin smirked slightly, her eyes full of disgust. She found the bedding Wei Jiani had slept in repulsive. If everything wasn’t so inconvenient here, she’d have discarded it all without a second thought.

Having locked the door, Tang Yuxin then adjusted her clothes. She was wearing a military uniform underneath, which she had been wearing for quite some time and was used to it. Over this, she added her white lab coat and finished off by hanging her doctor’s badge.

Right then, Li Jia and the others arrived.

“I’m so nervous! I didn’t sleep well last night, suffering from insomnia. Yuxin, do you have any idea which teacher will mentor us?”

Tang Yuxin shook her head, she had no idea which teacher would be assigned to mentor them. It was not her decision but the hospital’s.

Upon their arrival, they saw quite an impressive group of interns standing together, more than two dozen in total. These included both men and women, tall and short. Generally, those assigned here were the best and brightest of the medical schools.

Every one of them was not to be underestimated as any one of these future doctors could become famous nationwide.

A doctor arrived, holding a list. He took roll call and separated them into two groups lining up in pairs, leaving Tang Yuxin as the only one standing alone.

This doctor assigned all these students to their respective teachers and left. Tang Yuxin was left standing alone on the spot.
