Chapter 1338: Childish fights led to—- (2)

"Yuya, you need to sleep," Yu Ji told his daughter who was lying next to him in the bed. He patted his daughter on the chest, with a sleepy expression and said to her, "Enough with the fight, Mai is your brother. You should get along with him instead of fighting like this with him."

Li Yuya sniffed as she said to Yu Ji, "But my princess is stronger than his prince, why doesn’t he agree with me? I am his big sister, he should listen to me."

Yu Ji was speechless upon hearing the complaints of his daughter, if he had known that this was going to happen, he would have never brought those storybooks with him. He patted his daughter before softly coaxing her, "Yuya, it’s just a story. There is no need for you to take it so seriously, do you understand?"

"Are you also saying that the princess is not strong?" Li Yuya questioned her father who became even more helpless. He knew that if he was to say something against the princess his daughter would end up crying. He sighed and then said to his daughter, "She is strong alright? Now let’s sleep."

He hoped that his daughter would forget about everything by the morning and give up.

Yu Ji closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep, he was really tired after working on the strawberry farm and couldn’t hold a candle to Li Yuya who had taken several naps after fighting with Yu Mai. The entire day, she fought with him and then slept before waking up wailing, crying and fighting again.

’I will prove that my princess is stronger,’ Li Yuya thought angrily, she pushed herself off the bed and slipped down. She then neatly dressed herself and then walked out of the room.

Once she crossed the living room which was covered in darkness as the lamps had been extinguished, she made her way to the room where Yu Mai slept. Li Yuya found it hard to walk in the darkness but somehow she made her way to the other side and pushed open the door.

Inside the room, Grandma Yu was asleep with Yu Mai in her arms but under the moonlight, Li Yuya could see that Yu Mai was not asleep. His eyes were opened and he was staring at the ceiling.

"Yu Mai!" Li Yuya walked over to the bed where Yu Mai was sleeping and placed her hands on the bed.

Yu Mai turned to look at Li Yuya and his eyes widened. He then said angrily, "I am not going to forgive you."

Little Heart stepped out of his kennel followed by the rest of the pups. They looked at Yu Mai who shushed them before saying, "Come with me, we need to bring sister Yuya back." He did not know what Li Yuya was going to do at the mountain but he firmly believed that the mountains were scary and dangerous as his sister told him.

Little Heart yawned but he did follow after Yu Mai as the two of them slipped past the dog hole and chased after Li Yuya who was walking towards the mountain.

Yu Mai chased after the girl who was heading firmly in the direction of the mountain and said to her, "We need to go back, Sister Yuya. The forest is dangerous, what if something happens?"

Li Yuya on the other hand ignored Yu Mai, she marched forward until she arrived at the forest far away from the village. She then sat down cross-legged and said to Yu Mai, "You can go back home, I will start my training. I will become strong by the morning."

That was how it went in the book!

Yu Mai worriedly looked at Li Yuya and opened his mouth to speak when ——

HOWL.
